A cozy hideaway for two
The furnishings of The Smithy will take you on a journey back in time, as the genuine antique furniture and interior details we have put together for it will arouse your curiosity in the life of the former inhabitants of the old homestead. Of course, despite the rustic atmosphere, you won’t have to sacrifice any comfort.
The floors of the forge have been exclusively covered with slate and wood from the region. Also, in all other respects we have attached great importance to the use of natural and traditional materials.
On the first floor there is a hallway, bathroom/WC and kitchen, while the old oak staircase leads you to a spacious bedroom, which is equipped with a writing corner and an antique washstand.
From the living room you come directly to the small terrace, whose beech hedges provide plenty of privacy and a large walnut tree in the middle completes The Smithy’s cozy retreat.
Its quaint 53 square meters are equipped as follows:
- hallway
- shower with WC
- open kitchen with dining table and cozy sitting area
- solid wood kitchen with stove, oven and dishwasher
- a good basic selection of spices and a small selection of regional products
- 1 bedroom for up to 2 adults on the upper floor
- satellite TV and Wi-Fi
- private terrace
- private driveway with separate parking space

In the building next door, a large, welcoming guest room with a wood-burning fireplace awaits you, your friends, family or other guests.
Above is a recreation room with a pool table, foosball and a cupboard full of board games for all ages.
If you don’t want to make your own, you can pre-order breakfast with your own or regional products.
In addition, you can reserve the wellness area with sauna for the perfect relaxation experience.
Prices for The Smithy
An overnight stay with 2 people is 80 Euro (which includes bed linen, towels, kitchen towels, final cleaning, heating, water and electricity consumption as well as VAT).
Children under 3 are free, between 3 and 10 years of age cost 5 Euro and over 10 years of age are 10 Euro per night.
On request, dogs are welcome at 10 Euro per night.
For short stays there are surcharges because of the additional expense:
- 20 Euro per overnight stay for up to 2 nights
- 10 Euro per overnight stay for up to 4 nights
The minimum rental period is 2 nights.
