The Old Bakehouse
Historical life in a rustic vacation house
A stone’s throw from the main house is our old bakehouse. Its secluded and homey atmosphere makes it the perfect place to unwind and rest.
Where villagers in the past used to bake their bread, our guests now make themselves at home. With the help of an expert, the former stone oven was brought back to life, which we also use again to bake bread when the house is not being rented.
With great attention to detail, we have furnished the Old Bakehouse with, among other things, an authentic old staircase, antiques, as well as historical objects from the surrounding area. We have also placed emphasis on natural, traditional materials in the interior design, including clay plaster, lime paint, slate and wooden floors.
In addition, contemporary 5-star comfort awaits discerning guests on its 85 square meters:
- 40 square meters of living space with the stone oven on the first floor.
- kitchen with stove, oven and dishwasher
- a good basic assortment of spices
- hallway and separate pantry with a selection of regional products
- guest toilet
- 2 bedrooms upstairs
- spacious shower room/WC
- satellite TV and Wi-Fi
- Private driveway with separate parking space
Additional amenities for every lifestyle and weather situation
The large, cozy guest room with wood-burning stove is ideal for gathering with friends, family or other guests. In the outbuilding there is also a recreation room with a pool table, foosball and plenty of board games. If you wish, you can pre-order breakfast with your own or regional products. You can also work up a sweat in the sauna located in the wellness area (also bookable separately).
Prices for the Old Bakehouse
An overnight stay with 2 people is 100 Euro (which includes bed linen, towels, kitchen towels, final cleaning, heating, water and electricity consumption as well as VAT).
Each additional person costs 20 Euro per night.
Children under 3 are free, between 3 and 10 years of age cost 5 Euro and over 10 years of age are 10 Euro per night.
On request, dogs are welcome at 10 Euro per night.
For short stays there are surcharges because of the additional expense:
- 20 Euro per overnight stay for up to 2 nights
- 10 Euro per overnight stay for up to 4 nights
The minimum rental period is 2 nights.
